About us

Fiskar.is is the brand of FSK ehf., an Icelandic company specialising in solutions for aquaculture and fisheries. The company traces its roots to eTronica, founded in 2014, and is based at Síðumúli 1 in Reykjavík.

What we do

We import and service measurement and monitoring equipment for fish farms, both land-based and sea-cage: fixed probes for continuous monitoring of dissolved oxygen, pH, conductivity, salinity and temperature, and handheld meters for day-to-day checks on site.

Beyond instrumentation we supply feed systems and silos, pumping and aeration systems, feed controllers and SCADA software, along with wireless environmental stations for weather, waves and water quality.

Representing Dynamic FishEye and Helland Silo

Fiskar.is represents Dynamic FishEye AS and Helland Silo AS in Iceland and is the link between Icelandic fish farmers and their technology, service and project teams.

Dynamic FishEye, based in Drammen, Norway, develops automation and control solutions for modern aquaculture: feeding systems, SCADA supervisory control, operational monitoring and digital tools that simplify daily operations, support better decisions and contribute to fish welfare and sustainable production. Helland Silo specialises in feed handling for land-based farming. Together the two companies deliver complete feeding and control solutions for both land-based and sea-cage farming, from silos and feed transport to software and supervisory control in one integrated system.

Our role is to match that technology to the needs of the Icelandic market. We know the industry, the conditions here and the people who run the farms, and we follow projects from the first conversation and technical evaluation through design, commissioning and operation. The partnership rests on years of close cooperation and trust, and our aim is the same as theirs: to be a long-term partner to the companies shaping the future of sustainable aquaculture in Iceland.

Support from first consultation to follow-up

  • Advice and equipment selection

We look at the conditions at your site (salt or fresh water, tanks or cages) and find equipment that fits the job and the budget.

  • Installation and integration

Sensors and controllers have to talk to each other. We help with installation, connections (e.g. RS-485 Modbus) and integration with the monitoring systems you already use.

  • After-sales service

Spare parts, consumables, calibration and troubleshooting. We answer the phone when it matters and source components directly from the manufacturers.

Our aim

We aim to be a trusted technical partner. The right technology should simplify operations, increase safety and give better oversight.

The manufacturers behind our equipment

We work with leading manufacturers in nine countries and choose equipment that meets the demands of Icelandic aquaculture: reliability, durability and good service.
