The Obscape F12MP camera has a 12 megapixel sensor and a high-quality lens and is designed for long-term observation of slowly evolving processes such as beaches, river channels or construction work. It is wireless and solar powered, so it is easy to deploy.

Intervals and settings are set in the Data Portal, where the images can be downloaded as MP4 video. The camera also takes image bursts and video-lapses. A downward-looking D12MP version exists, for example for counting litter on the water surface.
