OxyCam is an underwater camera for watching fish in cages and tanks. It can be submerged to 50 m and delivers high resolution video.
The camera connects to an OxyBuoy monitoring station set up to handle the video stream. Video is captured at set times and sent together with the probe data to a cloud database, where it is viewed in the FishControl portal. Fish behaviour can then be related to readings such as oxygen, temperature and current. On a command from the web, OxyCam can also stream continuously in real time.
The system consists of the camera with cable, water quality probes, a GSM modem for data transfer, a battery and solar panel, and the electronics in a fibreglass cabinet rated IP65.
