The Wave Module measures the full wave spectrum, wave height, period and direction, in a rugged solar powered housing built for harsh marine conditions. It mounts on buoys, platforms or vessels with the brackets supplied.
Data goes over cellular to the Data Portal, with GPS position and alerts for drift or faults, and satellite is optional. If the link drops the unit stores data and uploads it once the connection returns. Direction accuracy depends on how the platform it sits on moves.
