The Trimeter uses the field-proven electronics of the Manta+ probes in a smaller, lighter body. It holds one sensor of choice plus temperature and depth, here an optical DO sensor.
The optical sensor uses the EPA-approved luminescence lifetime method, compensates for temperature and salinity, and the cap typically lasts more than 6 years. With a battery pack the probe logs on its own, and it can feed a telemetry station over RS-232, SDI-12 or Modbus.
Supplied with a weighted sensor guard, storage and calibration cups, internal memory, marine connector, electronic manual and software. The data cable and USB adapter are not included and are ordered separately.
