Tecnos OxyBuoy with optical oxygen + temperature probe, without buoy

This version is the same station as OxyBuoy but without the float, and is mounted on a cage or other existing structure.

OxyBuoy is a self-contained water quality station that needs no installation: you simply place it in the area to be monitored. It sits on a solid steel frame with a 10 W solar panel and a 6.6 Ah lithium battery that keeps it measuring for up to 10 days without sunlight.

The basic version carries a high-precision optical oxygen probe, pressure compensated by the built-in sensor. A microprocessor system in a watertight cabinet collects the probe data and sends it straight to the internet over the GSM/GPRS cellular network or Wi-Fi, at a transmission rate set from the central station. The system can be expanded as needs grow.

The data goes to the central FishControl database, which shows all stations together on a map with their GPS position, the values of each station, history as charts and tables, and alarms when values leave their limits or data stops arriving. Multiparameter probes for pH, salinity, chlorophyll, redox, turbidity, ammonia and total dissolved gas can be added.
