DUOPOD combines two DIGISENS sensors in one probe: a C4E sensor for conductivity, salinity and temperature and an OPTOD oxygen sensor with a titanium body. Titanium gives the best resistance to seawater and corrosive conditions and is the version AquaLabo recommends for seawater.

The probe sits on a 30 m cable with a waterproof Fischer connector, so oxygen and salinity can be measured at 15 to 25 m depth and read on an ODEON handheld or connected to an ACTEON transmitter. Both sensors keep their own calibration and send data over Modbus RS-485.
